The nature of our situations generally seems to no longer price beauty.
King Charles was talking to the Royal Institute of British Architects at the event of these 150th wedding about the planned extension of the National Gallery.

Is this still correct? And do we must re-discover elegance about people?
Defining beauty
When we see anything beautiful its beauty is subjectively felt. Yet; the concept of splendor and ugliness is evasive and difficult to put into words and define. Perhaps this could be because of personal variations within our gratitude of it. Elegance is in a person’s eye of the beholder. What one person sees lovely; yet another simply sentimental. One; appealing; another repulsive.
Beauty has been considered something to do with appreciating equilibrium; stability; rhythm. It captures our interest; satisfying and increasing the mind.
It’s maybe not the things indicated by artwork that describes whether anything is beautiful or ugly. As an alternative it’s how the thing is dealt with which makes it possibly inspirational.
Religious philosopher Emanuel Swedenborg implies that what arouses our sensation that the human face is wonderful isn’t the facial skin itself; but the love glowing from it. It is the religious within the normal that stirs our affections; perhaps not the normal on its own.

Splendor also can arise even yet in suffering.

Creative artwork
Roger Scruton; philosopher; points out that between 1750 and 1930 the goal of art or audio was beauty. Persons found splendor as valuable as truth and goodness. Then in the 20th century it ended being important. Then many artists focused to disturb; shock and to break moral taboos. The earliest of those was Marcel Duchamp e.g. his installing of a urinal. Awakening to the spiritual

Effect on people of cultural change
I’m wondering if by dropping elegance we’re also dropping something else. Anything I would explain as a further perception of what is good and simple in life.
Scruton suggests that residing without that greater belief is much like residing in a spiritual desert. He argues that the artists of yesteryear were aware that life was high in chaos and suffering. But they had a solution for that and the solution was beauty. He reckons that the lovely thing of beauty brings consolation in sorrow and affirmation in joy. It shows human life to be worth-while.
Elegance – A memory of transcendent truth
Splendor is in the eye of the beholder. But is beauty only a subjective thing? Is there also an purpose fact to it?
Perhaps we have to re-visit the wisdom of the ancients. In accordance with Plato; elegance; like justice; and goodness; is definitely an perpetually current entity.
