Defining beauty

What one individual finds beautiful; yet another merely sentimental. One; attractive; another repulsive.
Elegance has been said to be anything regarding appreciating equilibrium; balance; rhythm. It reflects our interest; rewarding and raising the mind.
It’s perhaps not the objects depicted by art that describes whether anything is beautiful or ugly. Instead it is how the item is handled which makes it probably inspirational.
Religious philosopher Emanuel Swedenborg implies that what arouses our feeling a human experience is beautiful is not the face itself; however the devotion glowing from it. It is the spiritual within the organic that stirs our affections; not the normal on their own.

Roger Scruton; philosopher; points out that between 1750 and 1930 the goal of art or music was beauty. People saw elegance as valuable as truth and goodness. Awakening to the spiritual

Influence on people of ethnic change
I’m wondering if by losing beauty we are also dropping something else. Something I would explain as a further notion of what is excellent and innocent in life.
Scruton suggests that residing without this deeper perception is similar to residing in a spiritual desert. He argues that the artists of days gone by were aware that life was packed with turmoil and suffering. But they’d a remedy for this and the treatment was beauty. He reckons that the beautiful work of art delivers consolation in sorrow and affirmation in joy. It reveals individual living to be worth-while.
Beauty – A reminder of transcendent truth
Elegance is in a person’s eye of the beholder. But is elegance just a subjective point? Is there also an goal fact to it?
Possibly we need to re-visit the knowledge of the ancients. Based on Plato; splendor; like justice; and goodness; is definitely an forever active entity.
